You shall not pass

From manali to leh is about 500 km that I broke down in three steps of 150, 90 and 250 km (WITH NO INTERNET OR PHONE COVERAGE ALONG THE FULL WAY). 

The road goes up and down quite a bit and it's amazing 

But the second step was delayed of few hours because....I mean this is Indian stuff...cars coming from here were jammed with the cars coming from there...can you imagine hundreds of people waiting because a military convoy couldn't find any way to get through because some civilian car took the place available on the road? Sono....where do you go from here?

I know where I'm going

I spent a day in Manali to get ready for the hot stuff. My contact went missing so I managed myself to get jerricans and map for the next steps. I'll be even more loaded, let's see how the bike manages.

Funny thing, after 700km I realized, my bike misses few basic things but comes with a freaking compass...let's go 'N'

Kinda tired

Yesterday I was supposed to ride for 300km but actually they were just 270. Today the roadmap said 250 but Google reported more than 300. Yesterday, got out of dehli, I was running on the highway, today the average was solidly under 30km/h. 10h to get a shower in Manali  

Blending in

Landed in New Delhi yesterday after eleven and reached the hostel at one-ish am to get some sleep before the first day of holidays. Some more todos:

 - a plug connector for Indian stuff

 - a local sim card 

 - some local mon...I mean...change the eur...no not yet...gimme the money...I mean srsly? Can anybody please change my precious euros and give me some load of rupee??? Finally!!!

 - and then the bike
